Getting Started - How to access your website

Before you can start making changes to your website, you’ll need to log in to your WordPress dashboard. We’ve already emailed your login details, so keep them handy!

  1. Open Your Browser: Go to the internet browser using desktop
  2. Enter Your Website URL: Type in your website URL followed by “/wp-admin” (for example: www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin).
  3. Log In: Enter the username and password provided in your email.
  4. Dashboard Access: Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the WordPress dashboard, where you can manage everything from content to design.
The video below will show you an overview of your dashboard. However, you don’t need to access a lot of these menu items, the main ones are just your pages and posts/blogs if you’re going to be creating articles.

How to edit your website content and images

All of your pages (Except some of the Woocoomerce store pages like the cart or checkout) uses a visual editor called Elementor. This is a user-friendly, drag-and-drop page builder that makes it easy for you to edit and customise your website without needing any coding skills.

Before you start editing your webpages

NOTE: Before you begin, please always only use Elementor to edit your pages that have the word “Elementor” next to them – Like this

We recommend you do not try and edit your cart, product or checkout pages as this can cause major issues with the store.

How to start editing your content and images

  1. Navigate to Pages: From your WordPress dashboard, click on “Pages” in the left-hand menu. This will show you a list of all the pages on your website.
  2. Choose the Page to Edit: Find the page you want to update and click “Edit with Elementor”. This will open the Elementor editor.
  3. Edit Text or Images: Click on any section you want to edit, and a toolbar will appear on the left side. You can adjust text, add images, or change colors—everything updates in real-time!
  4. Save Your Changes: Once you’re happy with your updates, don’t forget to click “Update” at the bottom to save your changes.

With Elementor, you have full control over the design and content of your website. Play around and get comfortable—it’s built to be as easy as possible!

Made a mistake while editing?

If you make a mistake while editing your website, you can easily revert that change by using CTR + Z (CMD + Z on Mac). If this doesn't work, you can select the little history icon in the bottom right of the editor, it's to the left of the Update/Publish button. From here you can revert back to an earlier version
